I admire the opium plant, that fat poppy.. standing high up in the rugged terrain of Afghanistan, brimming with opium juices ..now thats what you call a plant . Its made America send out troops, to war with savages just to control it for the lucrative industry it provides. Its killed so many people, destroyed family, made gangs kill each other for its control. Look at those heroin addicts, they are ruined ..entire life consumed by that plant and its alkaloids .

I would like to have those, just I think they need extreme humid air and what not, but it would be so sweet to see some irritating fly or mosquito flying into one of those after irritating you…. just imagine… best plants to have.

Mine is growing like crazy. I’ve had it for like 3 moths and only fed it some sliced turkey 2 times.
It is still in the little plastic container I bought it in. It started with 2 “mouths” and now has 8.

My room has 3 fish tanks in it. keeps the humidity pretty high.

I’ve noticed mine will eat earwigs if i put the pot in my garden. It won’t get all of them but I figure it can’t hurt.
