the bird feeders is perhaps a reasonable idea however I’m questioning your focus or message. …and the wisdom of decorating
…here’s a thought the winter barrenness is just as it is supposed to be restful : ) why clutter restful places? the winter garden is beautiful in its snow blanketed state : ) …and ecologically sustainable : )

The food for the outdoor critters is a wonderful gift in itself-winter wildlife is fun to watch.

Roll the pinecones in peanut butter, then roll them in birdseed or black sunflower seeds. You can set them in on the porch and watch the birds/squirrels/chippies eat them-or hang the pinecones from your outdoor trees.

Also, strug popped popcorn or strung cheereos are a favorite hung from the trees for the birds….

@gaiagale just consider it a personal preference – I also love the snow blanketed landscapes. But, it’s not all snow everywhere, and it’s only one spot and it’s onlly for a while.

The tip with the pine cones are something I’m going to do. My neighbor has 2 very large pine trees and almost unlimited access to a quantity of cones. Thank you!.

thanks for seeing my comment and making time to reply : )
…Al Gore gave us permission? Are you kidding?
Appreciating the natural beauty of our respective environment is wonderful and healthy, as well as a great personal choice. It has little to do with convenience or Al’s …truth!
Pointing out mistakes is outside of solution in fact it SERVES the problem and the people who are perpetuating the problem.
I have a vision or a truth too!

thanks for seeing my comment and making time to reply : ) I pressed the thumb down when I meant to press the thumb up : { oops …that being said, I do believe that decorating the outside with artificial items is outside of ♥respecting♥ and ♥appreciating♥ our natural environment : )

…thank you for responding I’m hoping you were being sincere. I guess sarcasm work for some however being genuine works for me : )

@gaiagale well, I do have to agree with that. My favorite house decoration in our area is the family that takes the time to put up cedar posts and swags of natural greenery – very pretty.

Ah, yes. I was being sincere. :)
Plain text can be a little difficult sometimes because we can’t really include tones of voice.
